We move in less than 2 weeks. We close on this house Oct. 16 and on the house in MS Oct 17. Our furniture and "stuff" will be delivered on the 18th. I just don't know how to feel. Right now I'm frustrated. Today I called to move the phone service and they cut it off today instead of the 18th like I told them. The man even repeated it to me. I know anyone can make a mistake and that isn't what frustrated me so badly. It was that the phone got cut off 10 min. after talking to him and yet it took hours for it to get turned back on!!!! The first call they told me it would be 2 hours to turn back on and then they told me it wouldn't be until 6:00p.m. Fortunately it came on around 3:00p.m. I just could NOT find anyone to tell me why it took 10 min to turn off and hours to turn on!!

Add to that that the 1st man told me I can't get DSL there. I called around and can't find cable internet either. I guess that leaves us w/sattelite since dh has to have it for work and I've become addicted to it! Does anyone have any experience w/sattelite internet? My homeschool contact there told me that the whole county was supposed to get DSL by the end of Oct. However when I asked the first representative about that he told me that if it was going to be available in the next 60 days it would be on his computer. He was also the same nice man who shut my phone off so I'm left to wonder.

Forgive me for complaining. It has just been rough recently. Oldest ds totalled his car and now we need to get him something to drive back and forth to college. He plans to finish the semester here, staying w/my parents. Then he says he wants to transfer to Hattiesburg which is still about an hour from where we will be living. So I have to figure that out in addition to dealing w/selling a house, buying a house, relocating to another state, homeschooling 3 children, and taking care of a baby.

God forgive me for whining. I'm very blessed in that we sold quickly, got a nice home in time, and my son was not hurt and neither were the other people. God knows my son's need of a vehicle. He has supplied all my other needs why not this one? Well, thanks for the pep talk!LOL I think it helped just to type through all this.
