Don't let anyone fool you: Schooling at home and holding down a full time job will be tough. Just because your two oldest are 12-13, doesn't mean that they can educate themselves, they really do need supervision. This can be done, I know because I am soon to be a single mom and I plan to homeschool my 9 year old for at least two more years. I have a middle schooler in public school and that is where she needs to be, but do not go into this decision lightly. How supportive will your boss be of your decision? How much help will you have with houskeeping tasks? How about dance class, recitals, soccer games? This is HUGE. Pray and consider all your options. If you can't make it work, don't beat yourself up. Afterall, your children will know you love them and are doing what is best for your family no matter what you choose.
