I'm in NW Florida. I have done the SOS whith my children and was very pleased with it for the most part. I found it to be weak in math if the children don't do some actual pen and paper work to back up what they are learning, and the history is a bit off, but besides that it is an excellent program. It's a very good program for a motivated student, particularly an older one. My son's best buddy is doing the virtual school and is very happy with it. He's actually taking Latin this year. Where are you located in Florida? Be encouraged that you can do this, especially since your daughter wants to. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that "home school" has to follow a set pattern. Learning is what it's all about, after all. You are doing a great job as a mom to be so concerned about your daughter's education. Keep up the good work! Blessings! Priscilla
