I haven't seen this book, but the promotional material says it is for "those who don't know how to learn". This seems completely contradictory to the most basic belief in homeschooling/unschooling, that all children are born knowing how to learn! See John Holt's book How Children Learn and Jan Hunt's book The Natural Child for good overviews on this point.
