You could try coming to some agreement with him whereby he gets visitation but also pays child support without going to court." He wasn't violent. I want to stay out of court if I can help it. I don't want to give up any holidays, and a judge would surely grant him some of those! Since he claims he's only making $8/hr., I don't think he could afford court costs, but you never know; his evil mother might foot the bill just to spite me.
