Several years ago the people on this board did a Christmas ornament swap. We emailed our real addresses to JOyce and she pulled names out of a hat or bowl or something and paired us up w/a swap partner. The lady I got not only sent me a sweet ornament (they had to be homemade), but she also sent me two $50 checks. Imagine that! Someone I have never met in real life sent me 2 checks! It was a wonderful blessing right at Christmas time.

I have had money orders come in the mail w/no return address. I had it happen once when I lost a house that I was cleaning and then again since I've been married after I quit working to have the baby. I felt that the last one was God's way of saying that He knew it made me a bit nervous to quit, but He had everything under control.

I quit working in Dec. because I couldn't bend over anymore!LOL and things have been fine financially. DH was a bit worried, but I don't think he is anymore.

Baby girl was born healthy and it was a wonderful birth experience. Add to that that DH's boss came to hospital (he was supposed to meet w/him to give DH his yearly reveiw & tell him his raise & bonus). DH got a $6000 bonus and a $6000 yearly raise also! We aren't missing my money from my job.

We just got a new van last week. This was a God thing indeed. A lady that I cleaned for passed away a year ago and she had a brand new, special ordered van. Her son inherited it. He kept it a year and he wanted to trade it in on a truck. They would only give him $12000 and he needed $15000. He called and asked if we wanted to buy it. It is a '04 Pontiac Montana loaded w/things I never even imagined!LOL It has a DVD player w/5 headphones, heated leather seats, a year's paid up sattelite radio, etc. etc. We even got an awesome interest rate at the credit union (5.75%). This had to be God. It is a major blessing.

I feel like God just continues to bless and continues to bless. I want everyone who reads this to know that I'm not bragging on what I have or what I've bought, but I know it all came from the Lord above.

After my ex & I split up I put the kids in ps for 2 years. I greived over that. I kept asking the Lord to restore homeschooling to us. I had to give up my dreams though. The dream of homeschooling (I always felt that the Lord led me to it, but I figured that things had changed), the dream of having a loving marriage, the dream of more children. I even said it aloud to the Lord one day. It was a hard day when I had to just tell God that whatever He wanted was ok w/me. I wanted whatever He wanted. Welll, God knew the desires of my heart and He gave me all the things "I gave up in my heart". God is soooo good!! I just feel like crying at it all.

I also wanted to breastfeed. I tried it w/1st child and again w/#3 and was not successful. This new baby has been exclusively breastfed for 3 mos. now! I know that is a gift from God.

I got our test scores in today from giving the kids standardized tests and my two dd's have improved tremendously this year. This in spite of a hurricane and having a baby. This is God. I am so blessed.

I'm going to try to stop now, before I write a novel and can't get the post to take!LOL
