Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the law is in VA on home
schooling (not sanctioned by state) verses high
school. The law states if the minor turns 18 and
has not graduated yet from HS. The child support
payments are still required until she graduates or
turns 19.

In my case, the guardian allowed our daughter to
take a year off from HS. Then after much debate she
started home schooling at age 16 without any state
consent. With numerous breaks from home schooling
non-payments.

Question? Does the VA law apply to home schooling?
