Tony- So sorry about this painful situation. It is, sadly, becoming more common, even in long time homeschooling families. It is my story, too. There is no easy answer and only you and your kids and God can decide what He is leading you to do. And where He leads, He will make they way. Is it possible? Absolutely. Is it easy? Nope. But if you and the kids are committed and can stay in close touch during the day, arrange some outside activities to motivate, provide other ways of supervising and accountability, it is certainly do-able. There are more women than men in this situation, but if you contact your state hs-ing organization, they may be able to connect you with other single hs dads. Adult support is important--hope you have a church and supportive homeschool friends. Nearly all of our homeschool friends are married families but they have been and continue to be a great blessing to me. Hang in there- God will make a way. I'm almost done- -graduated 4 and homeschooling my 5th, a 15 yr old.Been on my own for 11 yrs. God has been faithful and true, I hope you know Him. Laurie
