It can be done! I found work that I could do at home until the children were old enough to be at home alone. I know work some weeknights and weekends, but still do alot from home. I am a realtor. I was a stay at home mom before he left. I have 4 children 9 years of H.S. single. We learned to live on less money right out of the gate.
You could do in home day care. I did that when my children were young.
