Hi, my heart goes out to you. I am a single parent who homeschooled my children thru high school. My husband just up and left us. I was a nurse and worked night shifts. I had a close girl friend move in. She stayed rent free, while she went to college during the day. She looked after the kids during the night while I was at work. Eventually, I went inactive in the nursing field and became a medical science writer working from home. You might want to give writing a try. It won't make you rich, but you can make a decent living and be home with your family.

Your best resource is people(family, church members, good friends). You can try to create a situation where everyone benefits. Maybe try pooling resources with another single parent, ideally someone who also homeschools.
