I was left to raise four very young children on my own so can relate to you and the challenges a single parent has. Education is a controversial issue. I believe schooling is only good for arithmetic & english(read & write) but it does not teach the fundamentals of life to be HAPPY & SUCCESSFUL. How to budget, set goals, stress management, Attitude, human kindness, etc If your children specifically want to go to college to study something specifically than they will need to learn specific subgects otherwise let them follow their passions and dreams.
