Well First you have to know what kind of student he is . Is he indepandant and works on his own? Do you want something at his own level and his pace? How he percieves the world around him also matters. His interests matter. Also how does he learn matters when you are ordering a type of curriculum because if you will invest in one you want to make sur e it is the right one for your son before you buy it. Does he learn better visually by audio listening? answer these then I will get back to you or you can email me at dandgwh@srt.com . I have tryed many. I know about many and what kind of kids learn best on which curriculums. You can look at freinds curriculums or ask for many catalogs and read up on the publishing companys. Many out there are great . I say many but if they are not great for your child then they arent worth the time or money even if they are given to you or you find them in thrift stores (usually you wont find complete sets , maybe at garage sales. Or better yet free at library make your own to suit your child learning needs . Some homeschoolers dont have a curriculum. Some let the student tell you what his interests are and they go from there. Some dont have any at all. Look up unschooling . It falls under homeschooling but nothing to do with schooling methods or teaching at all. It all depends on your child and what is best for him or her. ok Dianne in Velva ND.
