I miss the good ol' days with lots of friends on
here, just hanging out and posting to each other.
Anyway, this year my 16yo dd is doing virtual
school. Her desk is next to mine in my home office,
so I can tutor and supervise as needed, but I no
longer have to grade anything. Wahoooo!!! LOL She
is really being challenged, but it's good for her.
She loves having her own laptop. My 17yo ds ran down the path of destruction and got
busted. He is spending this semester in a
wilderness camp for violating probation last
semester. Hopefully by the time he is released, he
will have earned his GED. I'm taking my dd to Pigeon Forge for spring break.
We've never had a spring break before, so she is
excited. It's funny how it's not that special if
you can go anytime; we've gone on vacation many
times in the late fall, and gone camping in the
early spring. She looks at spring break as an
extended holiday!
