I am also a single mom. i give piano lessons in the afternoons (and sometimes mornings). Since you are already a teacher, maybe you could tutor in the afternoons and evenings and/or Saturdays -- people pay GOOD money for this, especially when they start seeing results. Some want lessons in the summer too. Also check into teach ESL if that is a need in your area.
