Are you already divorced? What did you mean by "maybe I should just stay, but I could lose my kids"?

How far away does your ex-husband live from you right now? Does he want to see the children regularly? If he does, I would consider moving closer - if it will work out for you. Driving to meet/drop off the children every other weekend gets really old, really fast. With gas prices as high as they are, it gets really expensive, too. If he wants to see the children and can help with them if you live closer, I would consider the move....again, as long as it works out for you. I am not sure exactly what your situation is. However, the closer you are, the more he will think he can tell you what to do with them, so you'll have to consider that part of it too. If you could live with your oldest and that is a good situation, it might be for the best, to help save $ for both of you. She might be able to help you with the kids too, between classes, etc., for college. How old are your other 3 younger children? Ultimately, you need to do what is best for everyone - they can make new friends and find a new church - being closer to their dad might be more important.
