I've taken a few American Sign Language classes,and it's not like learning French or Spanish. If you're learning and using ASL,you need to learn the culture also. I'm not trying to persuade you not to learn the language,I'm just saying that it's harder then it looks. It's not like there's a sign for every English word,it's more of a word for meaning language. I.E. there are three different signs for 'have' depending on when you're using it. Just a thought.
