I am new to homeschooling and am having some trouble with my
science courses. I withdrew the children from public school
in January and we have been muddling through with this and
that until now. Now that we are sticking with it I am
trying to put together my curriculum for the year - still!
OK as many of you will agree finding secular science
curriculum is quite tricky - especially the older they get.
I have found two web sites and wondered if anyone had used
either one:
High School Science http://www.scienceforhighschool.com/
which has been designed for home schooling. It is not cheap
but I am concerned about messing up this area and many of
the programs out there do not have labs for home use whereas
this one does.
and...
http://topscience.org/ which is for all ages. I am just not
sure how to make this a complete year of study...ie how many
units to do, or if there is something else I would need to
add.
Thanks for any advice.
Sarah
