would she want to try doing summer classes so she can skip a grade or graduate early? would she be a candidate for for an IB program, or Early College, so she could have some of her high school classes in the community college? it might be less tedious and more directly connected to a tangible, goal-focused outcome for her.Perhaps it is not too soon to start working on career counseling. When kids can say, "yeah, I hate algebra, but I wanna be a vet or nurse or whatever, so I gotta do this", sometimes it helps. The hardest part of school is having no sense that any of this stuff is going to connect with a positive benefit for the kid.
