I have 2 boys I am homeschooling. I homeschooled my dd's until they started high school, because I felt I couldn't handle high school (regrets that choice now that she's learned). So I had by ds's in the public school for a couple of years and pulled them out this past school year. To my shock... they don't know very much about history, science, math, well you get the picture... So I have been searching high and low for fun ways to learn quickly and get them caught up! I have a wonderful science, it's Science 4 Kids (we are doing the chemistry level 1 first, at my ds 10yr olds request), then maybe biology level 1 then physics level 1. So I came across Homeschool In The Woods, have you seen it before? They have an amazing looking curriculum. It looks so nice, with time lines (I love that idea), lots of hands on activities... the downside... and for us it's a biggie... it's way too much Christian. I can overlook some, if it can be easily skipped, but this one, is not so easily skipped, at least as far as I can see, and from the reviews I've read about it. If you know of anything like that, please let me know... we are going to be starting our year soon, and I'd love to have something in hand soon. We won't be starting it right away, I really want to focus on the Science first... but it will be soon. Thank you for your help, Rebecca mom of 4 wonderful kiddies
