Yes, they are religious. Quoted from their website: I do know one secular homeschooler that uses them, just skipping the bible verses and "inspirational" stuff at the beginning, so it really would be a matter of whether you could deal with doing that every day. I personally wouldn't be comfortable with it, and would rather spend the extra money buying something similar directly from Saxon.
