I know this is off topic and I don't know the age of your daughter. But there is a children's book by Carl Sandburg called "The Huckabuck Family Who Went to Nebraska to Grow Popcorn and Left and Came Back". The daughter is called Pony Pony and the book is charming and funny. It does have a "miracle" which Pony Pony calls "a sign or a signal", but it reads to me as fantasy rather than an irrational belief. Just thought I would throw it out there as it sounds that you have a Pony Girl. Renita Leong Director of the Ohana Homeschool in Pennsylvania and member of Pennsylvania Non-Believers
