Check out the HSLDA website for state-by-state information. Homeschooling in Georgia just got easier, as of May 7, 2013, when our governor, Nathan Deal, signed into law that we no longer need to report attendance. This aspect will be effective July 1, 2013. Once per year, we submit a Letter of Intent to homeschool. This is done online through the GA DOE website...NOT a local school district. Also...homeschool parents are exempt from jury duty! Welcome to Georgia!
