My daughter attended public school for kindergarten and first grade. We began homeschooling in second grade. She returned to publc school(the same school) in 9th grade and adjusted fairly well. Social skills were no problem, mostly because of our involvement with our church. Last year she tested 2nd in a class of 98 on her literacy exam. The biggest problem was with algebra and the "new math" She can do the math but doesn't like having to show all the steps. My son (21) a homeschool graduate began homeschooling in 7th grade and attended college after graduation. He made the Dean's list the first semester. She will be a senior this fall and plans to attend college
