Welcome to the world of homeschooling! :) I have an 8 year old, 6 year old, 4 year old, and 10 month old. Life can get hectic during the day but in the end it is so worth it. I have not used any of the curriculums that you mentioned but do enjoy the ones that we are presently using with our kids. Check out Veritas Press for their history and literature. My son just finished 2nd grade and did a unit study on Little House on the Prairie. They have a lot of other literature unit studies as well. They sell the Shurley Grammar, too. We use Saxon Math but I do take somewhat of a Math U See approach. I like their manipulatives. I use Bob Jones for our Phonics and Grammar. For science we use God's Design by Answers in Genesis. We also teach Latin as we are teaching classical education. A good book to read is The Well-Trained Mind as it will explain classical education to you if you are interested. Happy Homeschooling!
