Depends on lots of things... What level of reader do you have? How much can she handle? What grade are you teaching? What topics would you like? Most homeschoolers follow their history topics loosely, and study American literature while studying American history, etc. But others are more interested in certain genres either to increase exposure or to cater to the interests of the student.
