I have hs for 14 years-my oldest just graduated last year.I have a 12 year old son who is totally different than my other 3 children. He is a very dependant learner-asks tons of questions-very insecure-not a strong reader-takes him far too long to read a few pages. But he is so talented in building things-K' Nex-Legos-I am not talking about little cars, I mean 6 foot Space Training Towers with intricate parts and motors. I need ideas on how to break through to him-to help him learn what he must learn. Life is not all about engineering at this point in his life-he has to be able to read well in order to succeed. He does good in Math- still slow. I know he is very bright-I just need to unlock it. Can anyone give suggestions?
