I have used BJU for 1st-now 7th. I really like them so far. Sorry, I cannot attest to 8th. I have taught Abeka 9th Language. I would not suggest it unless you have a really really strong background. I have heard wonderful things about Shurley Grammar. I have several friends who have used this and love it.
