We graduated our only child in May. For her 12th grade English credit, she was concurrently enrolled in Freshman Comp with MS Word at our community college. While she hated the teacher, she loved the class and I saw her writing / grammar all come together and greatly improve. May I suggest this as an alternative to one more year at home? In my state, concurrent enrollment means FREE tuition for 6 credits each semester. She took US History and an Adobe Photoshop class in the fall, World Religions and Freshman Comp in the spring. I wish we could have done more because she was highly motivated by her college classes.
