After using Saxon math with my youngest (almost 10) for four years, I need to switch his math. I don't care for the newer Saxon materials and ds would like a workbook so he doesn't have to write the problems on paper :)I should say he is very proficient at math and grasps concepts quickly. (My 19 yo is a math "whiz"; I think ds 10 got the gene :) I'm having him read/work through Life of Fred Fractions over the summer. He enjoys the story :) Having avoided canned curriculum since my early hs days, I'm looking at BJU and Abeka and really don't know what makes one better than the other. Could anyone offer some insight? TIA, Teresa
