We use the software as an extra. I had two kids go thru English from the Roots Up, and the second used the game as a review. Still does on occasion.

To me, the good thing about the game is that it is not one of those games that you can play without really knowing the material. You really have to "learn" the roots, at least temporarily.

I never used it as a main program, so can't comment on that. It seems like it might be do-able. But review in more than one format always helps with retention.
