Subject:	Need help w/those who use R&S math 2nd...grade...or 1st....!lol

I have a 10yo son and we brought him home from ps a couple of weeks ago.

He does not have his addition/subtraction facts learned or for that matter any of the things I would want him to know by 10yo :(

I want to use Rod and Staff for his math, but don't know which set to get....I want him to start at the *beginning* and get a solid foundation in everything. Since he is older and knows some things and not others, he should go through things fairly fast.

I want to use drills and blacklines etc. the way R&S does with the fact families (addition and subtraction taught at the same time etc.)but want early fractions, time, etc.

Which year do you suggest?? :o)
