We are doing BJ HomeSat right now. HS math is my greatest weakness & I am thankful for the teachers. Ds really likes Mrs. Genco & is doing very well in her class (Geometry). He is also taking Chemistry from Mr. Harmon, which he loves. (There's lots of math in it.) He has e-mailed his teachers several times & gotten responses back quickly, or they'll read the e-mail & answer the question live in class, which he gets a kick out of. He is planning to take the advanced classes next yr, because Mrs. Genco is going to be doing the Pre-Calculus & Mr. Harmon the physics. (He was just about cheering when he heard about Mr. Harmon.) This is in complete contrast to Video Text Algebra, which we didn't like. If you get the DVD's you'll probably get Mr. Conn teaching, which I've heard very good things about. I honestly don't know how hard it would be to teach it yourself, I just know for me it would be impossible!
