I used BJU Homesat for my 2 older children all through high school. I didn't teach the lessons myself the video teachers did.
My son decided to go into the trades when he graduated from high school. He had to take a test that consisted of mostly math.
At his review the man asked about his schooling and told him that he was impressed with his math skills. My son did very well and didn't have to be a pre-apprentice because his good test scores in math gave him a head start.
He had to apply himself and he would sit by the video rewinding it and rewatching things until he understood them. The only problem I had was in grading some of the papers because I didn't understand it myself. He really liked Mr. Conn who taught geometry and advanced math when we taped it a number of years ago. I don't know if the same math teachers are still there now.
