We have the pentathalon version. It is basically homemade from colored cardstock. Our playing pieces are laminated but I think unlaminated would be much better. Or that thin craft foam would be even better. Our board is laminated paper but I think foam presentation board would work better. That might get the price up higher than you can buy the game for, though. Well, cardboard or posterboard would also work.
