Sprinkler system was blown out and turned off this afternoon. And we got a lesson in the importance of keeping the outer garage doors shut, because the whole time he was working the wind just whistled in under the inner door. I now it is bad, we can see light under the door when one side is lit and the other isn't. Last year we put something along the bottom but it didn't work very well and didn't stay. I think I'll make a draft dodger like you are besides whatever else we do.

Window installer came back to fix the leak this afternoon. (don't know if that is exactly winterizing, it would have been done anyway).

I wish I had washed and put a good coat of wax on the vehicles, but didn't. I'm hoping for a day warm enough to do it in the garage.

We still need to pick up the leaves and put hoses away and that kind of thing. And restuff and tape the windows that didn't get replaced this summer.

And I'd like to add some insulation under the floor where it bumps out. This whole "can't have a box" building concept excapes me, don't people think that all those "interesting" things mean more complicated home maintainence? I'd rather have a nice plain box, thank you very much.
