We want to add the insulation to the attic, but I want two ceiling lights added to our hallway, and need to get more air chutes put up in the attic to be sure air is flowing from the soffits to the attic peak. Temps are a bit cold to go up now and my own cold leaves me a bit wasted to try doing it. Ugh! My hope is to still get it done this year in case they take the "rebate" away next year.
I did put in some of the foam things in the sockets and light switches. It made a big difference on the west side of the house.
We bought the house a year ago and I finally got the windows washed a week ago. I can see out of them!
The plants and flowers got cleaned out 2 weeks ago so hopefully all of the neighbors leaves don't fill in to badly.
In conclusion, I have a lot on the wish list and not much done. I am working on changing rod drapes over to pinch-pleated drapes for three big windows. (2 are 100" and 1 is 130") It is very time consuming, but is a good thing to do with a cold. It's not too heavy of an exertion.
