not me. I was up before 4:00. I think my inner clock has not reset itself yet from the time change.

I wrote an email to my brother, with some of the better links to feeding dogs and cats. It is funny that I wasn't the one to bring it up in our telephone chat the other day, even though I've been immersing myself in research on the topic for the last several weeks. He brought it up because he was just talking to a cat food packager/distributor or something... and that started him (him, my brother) thinking about doing something different in feeding their cats.

Then I helped dc with schoolwork, got a list of things they needed (certain book from the library, looking over college dorm options for dd, who needs to go where when).

And went to work on winterizing the house. I spent too many nice days volunteering with the dogs at the shelter, and now I'm working on the house in not-so-nice weather. The lastest one that I worked with captured my heart. I've been telling dh and the dc about certain animals that I like, but this is the first that I seriously wanted to bring home. I don't even know why, she just had a look, I guess. The other person and I clippered her from the back of her ears to the tip of her tail, poor thing, but she was in sorry shape with matts and fleas. She is an older American Eskimo, about 15 pounds maybe. I don't even like little dogs (as mine, they are fine to work with). Usually, I just take them out for fresh air, and exercise and a few basic lessons (like don't jump and it is good to respond to people).

Well, my muscles have had a bit of a break and it is back to hauling things around outside again. Y'all have a great day!
