Subject:	OK, am I ridiculous to post a Thursday 13 late on a Friday night? LOL

1. Wow, what a day. Poor dh came home early from work because
he is sick. It seems to be a bad cold or something. Poor dude.

2. Since dh was sick, I ran his errands. I have missed about 6 hours
of sewing time because of it. Bummer. There were breaks between
errands that did not give me time enough to sew.

3. Mil has decided not to visit (she was coming for a few days)
because dh is ill and only 2 of the 4 kids have had the bug. That
gives me more sewing time tonight, tomorrow, Sunday, and
Monday. I really needed that, actually.

4. Our firstborn will be 18 on Monday. Unbelievable.

5.Ds15 is a sport fencer and is doing so well. He has been fencing
for less than 2 years but is already an officer of the local club. He is
the armorer. That is the one who purchases club equipment and
does repairs and keeps track of equipment.

6. This ds15 is also what is called "Floor leader" one night a week
and is assisting in teaching a class. He will soon be teaching 2
classes himself. Proud mommy brag here. LOL

7. While I needed a *little* break from costume sales, I was not
expecting them to drop off completely like this. I hope I get some
more in the next 6 days. Maybe I should lower my prices?

8. I have been neglecting my friends because of the sewing. I feel
bad about that. I feel like I have been neglecting my family, too,
but they assure me that it is fine since it is short term and that they
are going to survive. LOL

9. Our local Christian university is closing its doors to
undergraduates after this year. They are not bringing in enough
money, they said. Students will have to drive 40 minutes to the
main campus. Sad.

10. I need to get a hold of Katie, who told me how to make toddler
towels. Katie, are you here? I need to know how far apart to put the
pins for the pleats.. LOL

11. I have been harsh with a friend and am so embarrassed and
sad. I hope she will forgive me someday. I have not been a very
good friend to her and I don't know why.

12. I grew all 6 pumpkins for this year's pumpkin carving. :o)

13.It is 11:18pm, but I have 3 hours of sewing ahead of me. Gulp!
I'd rather sew at night when I can. That is less sewing while
everyone is awake.
