1. We had some skunk excitement here yesterday. He hung around most of the day.

2. My neighbor called me yesterday afternoon-She said the skunk had porcupine quills everywhere and was in really rough shape-I felt really bad for it, but since the skunk is born with a potent weapon, I didn't dare approach either.

3. Both boys are in college full or part-time now. How did that happen?

4. Dh started a new job last month. For the first time in 17 years, he works Mon-Fri on day shift! No nights or weekends!

5. I'm really enjoying the fall-The leaves are already past peak though.

6. I started cleaning out my garden this past weekend.

7. We had a great garden year-30+ quarts of strawberries, tons of tomatoes, summer squash, etc.

8. I went to see Nights in Rodanthe last Sunday-Good story, but as usual they ruined the book.

9. Speaking of Nights in Rodanthe, I loved The Notebook-Another Nicholas Sparks book. Always makes dh cry.

10. Wonder is anyone goes to the video store now-Netflix has a much better selection and is more convenient.

11. I've been using tons of coupons in the last couple of months.

12. People who don't use coupons can't understand my obsession-Fairlight had a coupon question on her blog recently and got way more info. than she wanted.

13. Dh and ds are home so I need to get dinner on the table-Spaghetti. Yum!
