I met his 12yo dd for the first time. He raised her by himself since she was an infant. While she knew about me, were waiting to make sure our relationship looks like it will be permanent before I met her - she needs stability in her life. (she was abandoned by her birth mother and his last gf, after 2 years, decided she didn't like kids)

I'm glad to have finally met her, she's a real sweetie and was real comfortable with me. I invited her to come to my place with her dad anytime and we'll swim and play Wii. She was happy about that.

Now, to do some stuff around here, then I will get ready to go listen to him play tonight. He's an extremely talented bass player with a band I really like. In fact, it was his playing that first attracted me. :o)

Then, back to work tomorrow. ;op
