OK Folks, it's been a while since this was discussed and there have been more programs added. We are currently using MUS for Algegra I. We don't like Saxon - good thing since they don't have a separate Geometry course anyway. So, should we stay with MUS or go with something else? I was thinking that Videotext would really show what was happening better than other programs since they are so visual. However, I'd have to plunk down huge money for them and I'm afraid that not doing their Algebra would hurt the understanding of the Geometry. We tried Teaching Textbooks Algebra and my son got lost too easily with them and we think it was because he didn't do their pre-Algebra, so they assumed he knew things he didn't. Thanks for any thoughts.
