My daughters are in 3rd and 5th grade and are avid readers. The 5th grader is reading at 7th grade or better and the 3rd grade is reading at a 6th grade level. I am very thankful for this - however it is posing a problem - I can't keep up with them!

I am in need of some ideas for books that are "age appropriate" while still providing a challange to them. I am finding that a lot of books that are age appropriate are too easy of a read (they just whip through them), but most books that provide more of a challange deal with things that are not appropriate at this age.

Any ideas for books I can recommend to them? or . . . Can anyone direct me to a resource, list, etc. that I could reference when looking for appropriate books?
