Subject:	MUS and Mortensen manipulatives

Someone has given me some MUS manipulatives and some mortensens manipulatives - as wells as the book materials (older stuff).

I went online to check it out, to see if we would use it.

The MUS blocks have a starter set and a completer set. their website shows the completer set with one of the blocks turned over, looks sort of hollowed- out - is that "normal" That is to say - it that unique to the completer set, or to ALL the blocks, even the starter set.

I'm trying to figure out if I have a starter set or a completer set, or if I would have to order anything more in order to use these. I can count and see how many of each value/color I have, I guess, because they do say that much online. I just don't know enough about this material to know what I have. I did not get it directly from someone who used it.

Also, the Mortensen manipulatives were given to me new, still in a package, though the booklets are very old. It's hard to tell what they are like, though they look similar/compatible.
