Subject:	Going from Saxon 54 (2nd edition) to Saxon 65 -Homeschool edition (3rd edition)

I noticed in a post earlier about the different editions that you recomended not switching between editions for levels 65 and up. Is this the same with going from 54 to 65?

Furthermore, an you please tell me if the "homeschool" edition is different than the version that does not say homeschool?

Last year we used Saxon 54 (2nd edition) hardback book. THis year I purchased Saxon 65 Homeschool Edition (3rd edition), a soft bound book. The 65 doesn't even touch on what we were learning by the end of last year until it get to lesson 102. Yet, it teaches new concepts earlier on in this edition. The homeschool version of 65 seems to have a little more detail for the parent teaching but this could just be because it's 3rd edition. Do you know?
