I have 2 ds and they have very much enjoyed Life of Fred. It is probably the only math book that we can say that there was no moaning and complaining to get it done. The lesson are short, and the author puts it to real life situations, along with humor added. There is no dumbing down here, and no boring seatwork, just interesting how the author captivates the children/adults mind. Worth looking into, the website provide examples, and the author is very helpful to talk with. Good luck.
