would be Saxon Intervention. It is a strong phonics program,
which if he has not 'learned to read' as of yet, he most likely
needs. It begins at the begining and you can spend more or less
time on whatever phonics he needs to learn. I have seen a
couple of sets on vs for sale. [just bought on for a new to
homeschooling family I am work with, beginnng to homeschool
their 8th grader whofailed the 8th grade test.... yep, he has
struggles reading, they pased him for the 3rd grade, but he still
isn't working up near grade level, so it is home and a parent will
teach him.]


Angling for Words is good for that age group, also. I am not
familar with Reading Reflex. Saonx Intevention was made for
those who needed reading instruction from 4th grade and up. I
use it.
