Hi. I haven't been here in ages!! I am wondering if anyone has any insight re: Hake Grammar and Writing for grade 6. My dd used Voyages in English (pricey, even without the Teacher's ed.!!) for grade 5. I don't know if I want to switch to Hake or not. The pros, as I see it, of switching include that my dd uses Saxon, so the format of Hake wouldn't pose a problem. Also, there are fewer resources to deal with and cross-reference. Further, it is great that it was developed for homeschoolers, unlike Voyages which often 'speaks' to partners/groups in a classroom setting. And the cost is less--much less. That said, I just don't know if it would be as full or comprehensive as Voyages; I just don't know if my dd would learn as much.
