I am in need of some advice. I caught both of my daughters cheating on their Saxon math. They are 10, 11 and using 5/4 and 7/6. They just don't like to do math they say. They understand the concepts and get problems right, so it isn't because of frustration, but a lack of motivation and willing to be challenged. To help, the 10 yo doesn't do math on Friday, because she would be done by April, so I've slowed her pace. The 11 yo only does half the problems and still they cheated for the past 2 weeks. Do I switch programs? Saxon is a lot of busywork. We're still praying about a punishment, but I sure could use some advice.
Thank you all.
