Date: | June 10, 2006 at 12:51 pm PST |
I bought a book from someone and they told me they would send it media mail. It arrived today with $5.07 postage due. My ds was home and didn't pay so they took it back to the PO. He said it was stamped media mail and it looked like the seller had paid $3.03 for shipping. But, it was in a priority mail box. So, the mail carrier said I have to pay $5.07 postage due on this package. I paid $5.00 for the book and the seller added on $1.25 for shipping ($6.25 total through Paypal) This book isn't very big or heavy. I would have sent it in a large envelope. What should I do? I can get the book new for $10.00. I don't want to pay $5.07 more. What is the seller's responsibility in this situation? You may email directly with advice. thanks~ Laurie in OH
