I used to do retail customer service. The first thing they taught us to do when dealing with a difficult problem/customer was to ask "what can I do to make you happy or to resolve this situation"?
Put the ball in her court and ask her what it is she would like for you to do, and then see if you can live with that. Shipping for a CD is minimal, if paying for the return shipping would make her happy, I would do it and be done with it. But that is going to have to be your call. I am sorry you have to deal with this, she does sound difficult. Most of us are just homeschooling moms trading around our curriculum and it's unfortunate that people lose sight of that and can become so demanding. Hope it works out for you.
